Concentrating on lightweight design, Lotus crafts vehicles that frequently need innovative materials and manufacturing techniques. The philosophy of lightweight engineering aligns with certain sustainability principles of WYRON, a pioneering brand specializing in innovative recycling yarn.  WYRON's premium haptics and sustainability attributes perfectly suit the spirit of Lotus lifestyles vehicles – contributing to Lotus’ transformative journey as a global luxury-tech brand. WYRON has been chosen by Lotus for its world’s first application in the automotive industry. The incorporation of WYRON's yarn into the Lotus Eletre speaks volumes about the brand's confidence in WYRON's quality and innovative competence. We take pride in being selected by Lotus based on our alignment with sustainability criteria alongside our exceptional technical performance. Through Lotus we are bringing a vision to life that holds the potential to transform the environment of luxury automotive. **From old pants to new seats** The design studio Envisions collaborated to create a recycled textile from used clothing, which is typically considered unsuitable for recycling. The challenge was to produce high-quality yarn from substantial textile waste streams, which often end up as poorly performing insulation, being burned, or disposed of in landfills. Envisions took on the task of transforming this yarn into captivating high-performance textiles. The obtained yarn had a greyish-aubergine hue and was composed of a blend of recycled post-consumer fibers. Nonetheless, the designers used it to create a range of textiles with different textures, patterns, and color palettes. To achieve this, they introduced colored yarns made from recycled polyester. These were, however, restricted to no more than 20% of the textile, with Imat-uve's yarn consistently used for the weft. From these textiles, Envisions created an installation that was presented at the Dutch Design Week 2021. **Rē-Collection** During SaloneSatellite, Envisions presented their latest collection of indoor textiles called Rē. This collection used yarns of WYRON truecycled®  from unsorted textile waste combined with recycled polyester and wool. This represents a remarkable advance in sustainable textiles and uses state-of-the-art digital design methods in weaving. The collection included distinctive patterns and sleek designs that merge the digital and physical worlds as they increasingly intertwine. The concepts showed different uses and left room for individual interpretation. The versatile textiles are suitable for both furniture and interior design. All in all, Rē marked a fresh direction in the design and development of home textiles, reflecting both a commitment to sustainability and the growing influence of digital tools in the design field. **Société Angelique: Sustainable Blouson NAGY** SOCIÉTÉ ANGELIQUE is a high end fashion company, which strives for an honest sustainabilty and invites the customer to experience the full design circle with them.  For Fall/Winter 2022 SOCIÉTÉ ANGELIQUE developed a jacket out of WYRON truecycled® yarn. The surface and look reminds of a rough denim fabric, resulting in an overall relaxed yet strong impression.
